Mark Fitzsimmons is currently based in Australia & Finland. He has always been drawn to the raw, untamed corners of our planet. His journey began with a vintage Nikon FM2, sparking a lifelong fascination with visual storytelling. That fascination has since taken him from the vast ice caps of the Arctic and Antarctica to the dusty grasslands of the African savannah.
His work captures the quiet resilience of wildlife with a sense of dramatic intimacy. Whether tracking vulnerable species in remote habitats or searching for the elusive Eurasian lynx above the Arctic Circle, Mark seeks to bridge the gap between human perception and animal behavior.
Alongside his own photography, he guides wilderness safaris, sharing his passion with fellow travelers. Whether he is leading a group or waiting long, freezing hours for a single frame, his mission stays the same. He wants to document the natural world and inspire a deeper commitment to protecting the extraordinary animals we share it with.
