A seemingly endless cable-stayed bridge stretches across the vast tidal flats of Portugal, its elegant towers and cables reflected in the shallow mirrored water below. The wide-open sky dominates the composition, filled with layered clouds that cast a soft diffused light over the calm and silent landscape. The muted tones of sand, silver water and pale concrete create a mood of quiet stillness, where distance and scale make the bridge feel both monumental and delicate at once. Photographer Lorenzo Linthout captures the serene geometry of Portugal's iconic Vasco da Gama Bridge with a patient and contemplative eye, inviting the viewer to pause and lose themselves in the horizon.
