Colored Houses

A Look measures 11 × 11 × 2.2 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a soft silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 12.6 × 12.6 × 2.2 cm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

A vivid cluster of colorful wooden houses clings to the rocky shoreline of Greenland, their bold reds, purples, yellows and greens reflected in the calm grey waters below under an overcast Arctic sky. The scene captures the quiet joy of remote settlement life, where human warmth and color push back against the raw and rugged landscape. Photographer Kaido Haagen frames this coastal view with an eye for the way vibrant community and untamed nature coexist at the edge of the world.
