Colors of Fruit

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

Stacked crates of pomegranates, tomatoes, grapes and bright yellow citrus spill out onto the pavement in front of a weathered Georgian storefront, while bundles of churchkhela hang like garlands in the dark doorway. The crumbling plaster facade and tangled wires overhead only deepen the warmth of all that abundance below, a collision of color and daily life that feels entirely alive. This is street life in Georgia as it has always been — vivid, unhurried and rooted in the rhythms of the market. Photographer Pepijn Thijsse has an eye for the joy hiding in plain sight, finding beauty in the texture of ordinary places and the colors that make them unforgettable.

Based in Australia, Pepijn Thijsse is an award-winning, self-taught photographer capturing fine art street scenes, architecture and nature. His work focuses on unique perspectives and human behavior, often wandering into backstreets to discover overlooked details.
