Cube Houses - Kollektion: Niederlande

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

Looking straight up from between Rotterdam's iconic Cube Houses, this dizzying upward perspective transforms bold yellow geometric facades into a kaleidoscope of angles framing a patch of open sky. The vivid golden surfaces catch the daylight with striking intensity, their diagonal lines and clustered windows creating a sense of joyful architectural chaos that is unmistakably Dutch. Photographer Pepijn Thijsse turns this beloved Rotterdam landmark into something almost abstract, finding order and exuberance in a view most visitors never think to take.

Based in Australia, Pepijn Thijsse is an award-winning, self-taught photographer capturing fine art street scenes, architecture and nature. His work focuses on unique perspectives and human behavior, often wandering into backstreets to discover overlooked details.
