Guanajuato Geometry - Kollektion: Mexiko

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

Stacked against a sunlit hillside like a painter's fever dream, the densely packed neighborhoods of Guanajuato tumble across the frame in an explosion of pink, orange, teal, green and gold. Every surface tells its own story — terracotta brick rubbing shoulders with lime-washed plaster, satellite dishes perched atop balconies blazing with color — creating an architecture of joyful chaos that is uniquely Mexican. The warm afternoon light rakes across the facades, deepening shadows and intensifying every hue until the whole hillside seems to pulse with life. Photographer Barry Crosthwaite finds extraordinary geometry in the everyday, transforming this iconic Mexican cityscape into a vibrant mosaic where color, culture and community become inseparable.
