Highlander - Kollektion: Niederlande

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

photograph was taken in Twente, at Het Witte Veen. During a snowstorm that brought much of the Netherlands to a standstill, I traveled to the area—despite difficult conditions—because I was determined to photograph this Highland cow in the snow. I wanted to capture the silence of a snowy landscape. I walked nearly seven kilometers through deep snow to find the Highlander, encountering no one along the way—just the animal and myself in complete stillness.
