Mirror Water

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

The vivid cobalt blue of Greek waters acts as a mirror in this striking photograph, reflecting the golden hull and bold markings of a moored boat in fluid rippling waves of colour and shadow. The distorted reflection stretches and bends across the calm surface creating an almost abstract composition where reality and its echo become beautifully indistinguishable. This quiet corner of Greece holds a hypnotic stillness, the gentle movement of the water the only reminder that this serene landscape is alive. Photographer Kaido Haagen finds poetry in the overlooked, transforming a simple reflection into a meditative study of light colour and calm.
