Stacked high in vibrant rows, these traditional sake barrels — known as kazaridaru — fill the frame with an explosion of bold calligraphy, crimson red panels, delicate cherry blossom motifs and decorative rope binding that speak to centuries of Japanese craft and ceremony. Each barrel carries the name of a different brewery, telling a story of regional pride and ritual offering deeply rooted in Japan's cultural and spiritual traditions.
