The Face

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

A young face emerges from the shadows of rural Malaysia, her skin covered in a cracked layer of dried earth that blurs the line between human and landscape. The close composition draws the viewer into her steady gaze, where dark expressive eyes hold a quiet intensity against the rough texture of weathered wood beside her. Deep teal shadows and warm ochre tones create a striking contrast that feels both ancient and alive. Photographer Adam Docker captures the soul of Malaysia's people with an unflinching intimacy, finding mystery and raw beauty in a single look.

Eine in London ansässige Fotografin, deren filmisches Auge und globale Perspektive eindrucksvolle Porträts, menschliche Geschichten und ausdrucksstarke Reisebilder prägen.
