Valtellina - Kollektion: Italien

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

A solitary figure climbs a grassy alpine hillside above the clouds in Valtellina, northern Italy, carrying what appears to be a bucket toward a weathered stone farmhouse while a dramatic mountain peak looms through a band of mist in the background. The black and white tones strip the scene to its essentials, creating a stark and timeless atmosphere that speaks to the quiet hardship and solitude of mountain life. Photographer Beniamino Pisati captures this fleeting moment with a masterful sense of scale, making the lone human figure feel both small against the vast landscape and deeply purposeful within it.

Ein italienischer Fotograf fängt die tiefe Verbindung zwischen den Menschen und den Landschaften ein, die ihr Leben prägen.
