A vast flock of cashmere goats grazes across the sun-bleached steppe of Mongolia, their pale woolly forms stretching in a quiet line against the dry golden grass. Behind them, a dramatic ridge of dark sculptured mountains rises sharply beneath a wide open blue sky, its eroded slopes casting deep shadows that speak of ancient and unbroken silence. The landscape breathes with a stillness that feels both vast and intimate, a world untouched by hurry. Photographer Beniamino Pisati captures this moment of calm with a steady and reverent eye, finding in Mongolia's raw terrain a landscape that is monumental yet quietly alive.
Based in Italy, Beniamino Pisati is an award-winning freelance photographer specializing in geographic reportage. A two-time Travel Photographer of the Year winner, he documents the relationship between humans and nature globally while leading international workshops to share his poetic vision.
