Eye of God Mountain in Cao Bằng, Vietnam, also known as Núi Mắt Thần or Núi Thủng, is a natural wonder steeped in local folklore. This limestone mountain features a distinctive circular hole near its peak, resembling an eye, which has inspired various legends among the indigenous communities. One legend tells of a time when the area suffered from severe drought, leading the villagers to pray for relief. Moved by their pleas, a divine entity pierced the mountain to create the eye, allowing water to flow through and nourish the land, thus saving the community from famine.This sunset was a flat gray until after the sun dropped below the horizon and this amazing cloud drifted over from the east. Patience rewarded, or perhaps a gift from the Eye of God.
