The low angle and dynamic motion capture the physical intensity of hay season in rural Romania, where traditional farming rhythms still shape daily life. The image pulses with effort and movement, the swirling grass almost dissolving into abstraction before settling back into the pile below. Photographer Beniamino Pisati brings an eye for living culture and tradition in Romania, finding beauty and vitality in the honest labor of those who work the land.
Based in Italy, Beniamino Pisati is an award-winning freelance photographer specializing in geographic reportage. A two-time Travel Photographer of the Year winner, he documents the relationship between humans and nature globally while leading international workshops to share his poetic vision.
