Lofoten Red Hut

A Look measures 11 × 11 × 2.2 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a soft silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 12.6 × 12.6 × 2.2 cm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

A small red cabin with a snow covered roof stands alone on a white slope above the sea in Lofoten, Norway. Soft winter light falls over the waves and the pale sky, leaving the warm red walls as the only strong colour. Photographer Thijs Friederich let the isolation of this simple hut tell the story of the northern winter.

Based in the Netherlands, Thijs Friederich is a landscape photographer capturing epic scenes through wide-angle, macro and drone photography. Focusing close to home and during international travel, he uses color and perfect timing to transform natural landscapes with dramatic light.
