At night the iconic glass pyramid of the Louvre glows with brilliant white light against a brooding Paris sky, its geometric steel-and-glass facade reflected perfectly in the dark mirror of the surrounding pool below. The symmetrical composition draws the eye upward through layer upon layer of luminous triangular panes while the classical wings of the museum frame the scene on either side. Photographer Scott Stulberg captures the Louvre after dark with quiet precision, finding drama and elegance in the interplay between ancient stone and modern architecture along the streets of France.
Originally from the United States, Scott Stulberg is a celebrated photographer and instructor. He travels globally leading workshops and capturing imagery featured in National Geographic and major publications. Author of Passage to Burma, he beautifully blends imagination with craftsmanship.
