Stacked against dramatic cliffs above the Ligurian Sea, the colorful buildings of Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre glow with warm golden light as dusk settles over the rugged Italian coastline. Shades of deep red, orange and sun-bleached white cascade down the hillside toward a small harbor where boats rest quietly on still blue water. The architecture feels alive in this moment, vibrant and joyful against a moody twilight sky heavy with clouds.
