The long-exposure water mirrors the fading light, creating a mood that is both serene and nostalgic. Photographer Michael Abid captures the timeless soul of Rügen Island with a masterful eye for atmosphere, transforming a beloved landmark into something quietly breathtaking.
Originally from Ukraine and based in Germany, Michael Abid became a professional photographer in 2013. He travels globally capturing striking cityscapes, landscapes and architecture. Using engineering precision, he beautifully transforms iconic locations through light.
