Two young boys perch on the trunk of a rusted abandoned taxi in Sierra Leone, their easy confidence filling the frame against a backdrop of lush banana trees and a weathered stone wall. The car's faded teal and yellow paint, the peeling sticker reading "God Bless Mansar" and the overgrown grass creeping around the wheels all speak to a world where life quietly reclaims what time has left behind. There is a raw and joyful energy in the scene, the kind of unguarded street life that defines everyday moments across West Africa. Photographer Adam Docker has an extraordinary gift for finding dignity and vitality in forgotten corners, turning a simple afternoon in Sierra Leone into a portrait that lingers long after you look away.

Een in Londen gevestigde fotograaf wiens filmische blik en mondiale perspectief zorgen voor evocatieve portretten, menselijke verhalen en expressieve reisfotografie.
