A vivid red tree blazes at the heart of this Spanish landscape, its warm autumn tones contrasting against the silvery rocks and muted greens that surround a gently rushing stream winding through the scene. The long-exposure water carries a silky dreamlike quality, while shifting light breaks through a dramatic sky to cast the terrain in a mix of warmth and cool shadow. The composition moves the eye from the mossy foreground through the rocky streambed and upward into the treeline, capturing the rich color and quiet joy that defines this corner of Spain. Photographer Leticia Felgueroso sees the Spanish countryside not simply as scenery but as a living painting, finding radiant color where a river quietly tells its story.
