A sweeping arc of white steel curves gracefully against an inky black sky, its suspension cables fanning outward like the strings of a harp in this minimalist study of Irish engineering and form. The stark contrast between the luminous bridge structure and the surrounding darkness strips the scene down to pure geometry, finding unexpected joy in the elegant tension of line and curve. Somewhere in Ireland, the familiar becomes abstract, a crossing reduced to its most poetic essentials. Photographer Lorenzo Linthout transforms infrastructure into fine art, revealing the hidden beauty in the spaces most of us simply pass through without a second glance.
