A wooden dock stretches out over the glassy waters of Lago di Braies in the Italian Dolomites, where a lone red rowboat drifts quietly beside a fleet of others moored along the shoreline. The still turquoise lake mirrors the snow-dusted peaks and dense evergreen forests with breathtaking clarity, bathed in the warm golden light of a crisp alpine morning. Every element of this Italian landscape breathes calm and silence, from the reflections rippling softly beneath the mountains to the unhurried stillness that seems to hold the entire scene in place. Photographer Scott Stulberg captures nature at its most undisturbed, finding in this remote corner of Italy a peace that feels both timeless and deeply human.
