A green traffic light showing red stands against a sun-warmed yellow wall in Italy, its bold geometry echoed by a long dramatic shadow stretching across the plaster like a second, flattened twin. The clear blue sky above the gabled roofline adds a crisp minimalist calm to the scene, while the warm golden light transforms an ordinary street corner into something quietly joyful and abstract. Photographer Lorenzo Linthout finds beauty in the overlooked details of everyday Italian life, turning color, shadow and simple form into a composition that is playful, precise and full of light.
