A small whitewashed chapel sits at a quiet rural crossroads in the Italian countryside, flanked by a row of pollarded trees just coming into spring leaf with fresh lime-green growth catching the afternoon light. The pale gravel paths curve gently around the building, leading the eye toward vast flat agricultural fields stretching to the horizon beneath a wide blue sky dotted with soft white clouds. The scene radiates a deep sense of calm and silence, as if time has paused at this modest roadside shrine where seasons simply come and go. Photographer Beniamino Pisati captures Italy's understated rural beauty with quiet precision, finding stillness and grace in the everyday landscapes others pass without a second glance.
