Handafgewerkt in ons Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

A long colonnade of white concrete fins sweeps diagonally across the frame, their repeating angles creating a sense of rhythm and quiet tension against the pale Belgian light. Partially obscured between the structures, a figure in a flowing beige coat and low heels stands still — present yet hidden, absorbed into the geometry of the space. The muted tones and stark architectural lines give the scene an air of mystery, where the human and the abstract exist in subtle contrast. Photographer Pepijn Thijsse brings a precise and poetic eye to Belgian street photography, finding stillness and intrigue in the spaces where people and architecture quietly collide.
