At the blue hour of night, Tallinn's main railway station spreads across the frame in a sweeping aerial view, its parallel tracks and platform lights casting long luminous lines toward the illuminated station building. The glowing "TALLINN" sign anchors the right of the composition while orange commuter trains rest quietly on the left and a lone modern train idles at the central platform, the distant spire of the Old Town rising like a silhouette against the deep cobalt sky. The mood is one of calm and silence — a rare breathless pause in an urban hub that by day hums with movement and purpose. Photographer Kaido Haagen captures Estonia's capital with a commanding yet contemplative eye, finding architecture and stillness where others see only transit.
