At dusk, the Pont Alexandre III stretches gracefully across the Seine as its ornate lampposts cast a warm golden glow over the water, with the gilded sculptures atop the bridge's pillars catching the last light of a Parisian sunset. The domed silhouette of Les Invalides rises softly in the background, framed by a sky that melts from deep blue into burnt amber. Photographer Michael Abid captures Paris at its most enchanting — a city suspended between day and night, where elegance and light seem to conspire at every turn.
Originally from Ukraine and based in Germany, Michael Abid became a professional photographer in 2013. He travels globally capturing striking cityscapes, landscapes and architecture. Using engineering precision, he beautifully transforms iconic locations through light.
