The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

Two figures stand with their backs to us, quietly absorbed in the rows of weathered books lining the warm wooden shelves of an Italian bookshop, their contrasting textures — a plaid wrap and a polka-dot blouse — adding quiet intimacy to the scene. The soft indoor light bathes the shelves in amber tones, lending the moment a calm and unhurried stillness that feels deeply characteristic of everyday social life in Italy. Photographer Pepijn Thijsse captures the beauty of silent connection — two people sharing the same space and the same slow, curious rhythm without a word exchanged.

Based in Australia, Pepijn Thijsse is an award-winning, self-taught photographer capturing fine art street scenes, architecture and nature. His work focuses on unique perspectives and human behavior, often wandering into backstreets to discover overlooked details.
