At the crossroads of Madrid's Gran Vía, the ornate Metropolis Building rises in a blush of pink and white stone, its gilded dome crowned by a winged bronze figure against a soft evening sky. Trees glowing with golden autumn light frame the quiet street below, lending the scene a warm and joyful energy that feels almost cinematic. The layered facades of Spain's capital unfold in a rich palette of architectural styles, from Beaux-Arts grandeur to early 20th-century elegance, capturing the vibrant urban soul of Madrid. Photographer Leticia Felgueroso brings a painter's sensitivity to the city, finding color and poetry in stone and light where others might see only a street corner.
Based in Spain, Leticia Felgueroso is a fine-art photographer who blends reality with fiction. Inspired by classical painting and Baroque lighting, she creates poetic still lifes and urban landscapes, widely exhibited in prominent galleries and contemporary art fairs internationally.
