Road Side Foss

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

Silky white water rushes past vivid moss-covered boulders in this long-exposure landscape captured somewhere along the roadsides of Iceland, where cascading falls tumble down in the distance beneath a brooding storm-lit sky. The cool blue tones of the flowing river contrast sharply with the lush green of the rocks, creating a scene charged with raw natural energy and motion. Photographer Alexander Riek brings an intimate ground-level perspective to Iceland's untamed wilderness, letting the viewer feel the force and rhythm of water in constant, restless movement.

Based in Germany, Alexander Riek is a photographer and animal scientist who travels globally. He captures the unique stories of destinations worldwide, focusing primarily on landscapes, architecture and wildlife.
