Sapa

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

Cascading terraces of golden rice sweep across the mountainsides of Sapa, Vietnam, bathed in a warm haze that turns the entire valley into a living painting of green and amber light. The layered fields follow the natural curves of the hills with quiet precision, while scattered trees and small dwellings anchor the scene in the rhythms of rural life. Mist drifts between the peaks in the background, softening the distance and adding a luminous depth to this breathtaking landscape. Photographer Alexander Riek captures the joyful abundance of the Vietnamese highlands with a painter's eye for color and a traveler's reverence for the world's most quietly magnificent places.

Based in Germany, Alexander Riek is a photographer and animal scientist who travels globally. He captures the unique stories of destinations worldwide, focusing primarily on landscapes, architecture and wildlife.
