Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

A crowded harbor in Vietnam comes alive through a vivid tapestry of blue red and yellow wooden fishing boats moored side by side on calm still water. The colorful hulls decorated with geometric diamond patterns reflect softly on the surface creating a quiet meditative atmosphere where daily life and the sea exist in perfect rhythm. Nets ropes and worn timber tell quiet stories of hard work and tradition while the overall scene carries a sense of unhurried calm and silence. Photographer Kaido Haagen captures the soul of Vietnamese coastal life with an eye for color and stillness that transforms the everyday into something deeply poetic.

Originally from Estonia, Kaido Haagen is a photographer with over 30 years of experience. He travels globally capturing architecture, travel landscapes and the underwater world. Featured in major exhibitions and books, his award-winning work stands out for its clarity and mastery of light.
