Tobacco Harvester

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

Beneath a wide straw hat, a tobacco harvester moves with quiet purpose through the dense green rows of a Cuban field, arms full of freshly picked leaves bundled together in a generous armload. The image pulses with earthy energy, the lush expanse of tobacco plants stretching endlessly in every direction under soft diffused light that brings out every vein and texture of the broad leaves. Cuba's deep agricultural traditions come alive in this portrait of labor and land, where the rhythm of the harvest feels both timeless and deeply human. Photographer Beniamino Pisati captures this moment with an intimacy that honors the culture and people behind every leaf, turning honest work into quiet poetry.
