Photo description

A blanket of snow transforms an Italian vineyard into a study in black and white, where endless rows of dormant vines and wooden stakes create a hypnotic diagonal rhythm across the hillside. A single bare tree stands quietly among the orderly lines, offering a moment of stillness and organic contrast against the geometry of the landscape. The calm and silence of winter in Italy has rarely felt so complete, the absence of colour only deepening the sense of dormancy and patient waiting. Photographer Beniamino Pisati finds poetry in the structure of the land itself, turning an agricultural scene into a meditation on pattern, season and the quiet endurance of nature.
