I took this photo out of my 16th floor Beijing hotel room window, of the office building across the street. The elevated vantage point allowed me to isolate recurring patterns in the office windows, and the pink walls of my hotel colored the reflections, turning the photo into an abstract collage.
Based in San Francisco, Tom Stahl is an internationally exhibited landscape and travel photographer. Having explored over 60 countries, he left engineering to capture the world, blending technical precision with dreamlike compositions. He is also the author of Traveling Light.
