Brighton Boxes Melbourne

A Look measures 11 × 11 × 2.2 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a soft silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 12.6 × 12.6 × 2.2 cm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

Painted wooden planks in blue, yellow, purple and red form bold stripes on the bathing boxes of Brighton Beach in Melbourne, Australia. Seen up close, with corrugated roofs adding structure, the huts become an almost abstract composition. Photographer Tom Stahl has a sharp eye for detail, turning a well known seaside landmark into a lively study of pattern and colour.

Based in San Francisco, Tom Stahl is an internationally exhibited landscape and travel photographer. Having explored over 60 countries, he left engineering to capture the world, blending technical precision with dreamlike compositions. He is also the author of Traveling Light.
