Connection Station was a 2018 Burning Man art installation by Al Boehnlein. It was set up out in the deep playa, all alone, far from the noise and chaos of the main event. I saw it from a distance one afternoon and biked over to find a woman sitting by herself, as if waiting patiently for the right person to arrive. She graciously allowed me to take her photo.
