The panning technique freezes the three-wheeled taxi mid-motion while dissolving everything around it into bands of warm amber and cool white, capturing the relentless rhythm of Thai street life in a single frame. Photographer Pepijn Thijsse turns an everyday ride into a meditation on movement and momentum, finding poetry in the ordinary flow of a city that never slows down.
Based in Australia, Pepijn Thijsse is an award-winning, self-taught photographer capturing fine art street scenes, architecture and nature. His work focuses on unique perspectives and human behavior, often wandering into backstreets to discover overlooked details.
