I was out early one morning trying to photograph morning sun on the mountain peaks of the Dolomites in Italy, but the light was flat and uninspiring. When I turned around to head back to my rifugio for breakfast, I saw this view of the morning sun shooting beams out from behind a pine tree.
Based in San Francisco, Tom Stahl is an internationally exhibited landscape and travel photographer. Having explored over 60 countries, he left engineering to capture the world, blending technical precision with dreamlike compositions. He is also the author of Traveling Light.
Our Looks

The acrylic is mounted on an MDF core measuring 110 x 110 x 22 mm
The country where the photo was taken (the corresponding country collection) is engraved on the side of the MDF block
The back is engraved with: the photographer’s name, the title of the photo, the country collection, and a QR code linking to the LooksOnLife website
