Lviv Railway Station

The Look measures 12.6 x 12.6 cm and can be hung on the wall or stood up.

It is a photograph behind 3 mm clear acrylic on an MDF block of 110 x 110 x 22 mm. The country is engraved on the side; the photographer, the title and the country are on the back.

The Wrapp is a 0.8 mm silicone frame that clicks around it. Together, a Wrapped Look measures 126 x 126 x 25 mm.

Hand-finished in our Foto Lab in Amstelveen.

A solitary figure walks the empty platform of Lviv Railway Station late at night, flanked by weathered train carriages and bathed in the warm amber glow of old globe street lamps cutting through a cool blue haze. The grand arched glass facade of this iconic Ukrainian station looms in the background, its steel framework silhouetted against a pale moonlit sky that lends the scene an almost cinematic stillness. Every element of this street photograph speaks to the quiet drama of urban life between departures — where architecture, light and human solitude converge in perfect calm. Photographer Pepijn Thijsse captures Ukraine not in chaos but in contemplative silence, finding poetry in the spaces where people pass through and the night holds its breath.

Based in Australia, Pepijn Thijsse is an award-winning, self-taught photographer capturing fine art street scenes, architecture and nature. His work focuses on unique perspectives and human behavior, often wandering into backstreets to discover overlooked details.
