From high above the salt flats of Greece, this aerial abstract captures a quiet world of cracked mineral crust, pale aqua channels and faint linear traces etched across a muted grey expanse. A single vivid slash of red cuts through the composition like a brushstroke, offering the only warmth in an otherwise cool and silent landscape. The minimalist geometry of intersecting lines and salt-bleached textures creates a calm meditative mood that feels closer to painting than photography. Born in Athens, Greece, Giannis Giannelos became a professional photographer at 18. Having published dozens of photo books spanning cultural heritage and advertising, his true passion remains capturing architecture, geometry and the emotional freedom of nature.
